While the daylilies are about due, I didn't even realize we had any plants with buds. Surprise! Our yard has lots of daylilies, in a variety of colors. Expect to see more.

It's hard to get a decent flower photo in the wind....

Last May 12 it rained. You'll perhaps recall that rain was a rarity last spring, so I celebrated by photographing the raindrops. And wet birds. This is an alternate crop of the photo I posted a year ago. Right at the moment I prefer this version. The Spirea was opening, too. Later in the day I found a swallow on the weather station .
