I'd noticed a couple weeks ago that this photograph was possible, so I set out to capture it this afternoon. Despite all the foreground clutter it's a clean shot to the downtown buildings. And the V1 and its new lens do a surprisingly good job of capturing the downtown detail . I think it's a keeper. The lens, that is; the photo may be too messy.

I drive through Hastings regularly, but last year a long construction zone had made it difficult to visit the central business district. The barriers finally came down in November, so I stopped and grabbed a few pix for my 366 Snaps project around courtyard square. ========== This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps .
