At the corner of McWhorter Highway and Shaytown Road, rural Sunfield, Michigan. Not sure what this was originally intended to be, but it's certainly an interesting structure.

A strangely quiet factory complex on the waterfront at Kewaunee, Wisconsin. On this Monday morning there was some activity in the place, but far less than the well-maintained buildings seemed to promise.

The large buildings at Erie Mine are actually three separate but closely-related plants--an ore crusher, an aggregator which separates the iron from the waste rock, and a taconite pellet plant which packages the ore into the pellets that the steel mill furnaces expect.
