The Sky at the End of Main

Drove to the post office to pick up our mail and spotted this view at the end of Main Street. Back to the house, grabbed the camera, and walked back to the corner. Got it.

Joan, photographer

Last September 23 we woke up in Ludington, with all day to reach Traverse City. So we took a leisurely drive up the Lake Michigan coast, enjoying the dramatic day. We stopped for a while at Point Betsie, watched the waves pounding in, and photographed the lighthouse against the clouds . It was glorious. ========== I got my 366 Snaps pix out of the way early, but a file-transfer mishap after we arrived in TC lost the Ludington shots and forced me to try some after-dark shots of the well-lit exterior of our hotel. A couple came out OK; one of those became my pic-of-the-day. Instead of those, here's a picture of Joan at Point Betsie. ========== This photograph is a non-outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps . Number of project photos taken: 23 (plus 25 or so lost Ludington shots] Title of " roll :" Pointes North int he Dark Other photos taken on 9/23/2012: I took 189 pix between Ludington and Traverse City, mostly at the lighthouse. (Bought a neat jacket, too.)
