State's Anthony Cheky heads for second as Western's Nick Bradley pitches. Called my sister during the seventh inning: "Well, the game's like this-- Western's made 13 hits. State's made 2 errors. The Spartans are 4 runs ahead." Not exactly a pitcher's duel. More like a perpetual motion machine. Final score was Michigan State 15, Western Michigan 7.
