This once-handsome grouping is on Grand Ledge's Bridge Street, at River. I presume they had attractive facades a hundred years ago, but changed to match fickle architectural fashion. Somehow they got stuck at 1965. Not all is lost. There's wonderful detail above the ugly storefronts. Brick making was an important industry in this town, and it really shows in the business district.
