Tomorrow we'll have more phlox, and in a week it will be spilling over the edges on the sidewalk and the lawn. But today we've just these few flowers.

This was originally planned as a photo of the Iris. But there, lurking in the background, is my Mustang. The Iris was one of last spring's plantings, and will be flowering in a day or two. The new garden's coming along nicely; nearly everything survived the winter.

A flower a day for January .... This groundcover plant tends to spill out of the garden and cover part of the sidewalk. Not good for the walk, but phlox looks terrific while it's blooming.
