It is still there in 2021, although the foliage has encroached. My DNG was manipulated to de-saturate the green foliage and slightly enhance the colours on the bicycle. (SilkyPix software.)

The disc with indentations is a 'map' showing the position of mine shafts and mine workings in Poynton and Higher Poynton, relative to the Nelson Pit Visitor Centre. The last collieries here were closed in 1935.
