At the Poynton Show, Cheshire, England, August 2023. This vehicle's licence disc was issued by Derby County Council in December 1934 and expired in December 1935. It is what is known in the UK as a 'traction engine', used to drive machinery by means of a belt, but the licence disc describes it as a 'steam roller'. It may have been fitted with a roller in an earlier incarnation.
