Plaque commemorating a visit to Bratislava by the 19th Century piano virtuoso Franz Liszt (1811 - 1886). (Pronounced like List.) Liszt's piano music covers 99 CDs. He also composed a fair quantity of orchestral music. Needless to say not everything is a masterpiece but where he is good, he is very very good.

Schone Naci was a well known figure in the early 20th century. A poor and mentally ill man, he paraded the streets of Bratislava in old, but elegant attire - a velvet frock, greeting passers-by with his top-hat and bowing courteously to ladies passing by. In the far distance can be seen the high-rise apartments where people live. Beyond them is Malé Karpaty - the 'Little Carpathians'. These are a low mountain range about 100 km long forming part of the Carpathian Mountains.
