There may be other similar postings regarding this, but here is my contribution. Like many people, I came to Ipernity from another photo sharing website - in my case Flickr in 2013. More recently many people came over from Panoramio. Very many people hope that Ipernity will continue despite its current problems. But, if Ipernity is really going to close, where else is there to go? I am setting out in the 'Comments' below the result of my own researches on this. Although I intended to be objective, it will be obvious what elements 'matter' to me, so it is a personal view; but I hope it will help other people too. Anyone who wishes is invited to express their own thoughts (or corrections or amplifications) or simply to say where (and, perhaps, why) they are intending to go if Ipernity closes.
