Diane, Paul, Walter, and I met at Pistolet Bay Provincial Park Campround where Diane and Paul took us to a special place for the rare, Northern Twayblade orchid. While there, we also found Bluntleaved orchid and Heartleaf orchid. The mosquitoes were out in force, but we hardly noticed them in the excitement of finding these orchids in bloom... I know it's not much to look at, but it is a very rare orchid in Newfoundland. Unfortuately, these had gone to seed when we saw them.
