Today would be a busy one for us with lots of driving. We had three stops on the agenda: Lomond River Trail, a roadside area filled with orchids, and the sleepy village of Tilt Cove on the eastern coast of Newfoundand.

These images represent two stops for the day. One at Pistolet Bay Provincial Park Campground, where we met Diane Allen and Paul Hines. They would be showing us the rare plants and wildflowers of Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve.

The last location on the last day of our field trips with the Native Orchid Conference was to a wonderful location called Butterfly Valley Botanical Area in Plumas County, California.
In the seeps and bogs, we saw three orchid species as well a unique pitcher plant.
This was definitely a great end to a super conference...
