This sign is on the corner of Marlborough Road so what puzzles me is what the almost completely faded sign on the bottom right says. It doesn't look as if it ever read Marlborough on the top line and although the beginning of the bottom line looks as if it could start with an 'R' it then seems to end 'VES' so perhaps it wasn't a street sign at all. Any ideas? Update: (with thanks to grepnold) Formerly Hanley Road West (see discussion below) Pretty signed out altogether, this wall, as the white blobs looks as if something has been blu-tacked up there at some point too!

Radiators Ltd Motor Radiators Repair Replacements? I can't believe I've never noticed this one before. I've passed by several times a week for the last couple of decades! But I see that Jane spotted it last year. No sat dish in her pic though - the march of progress?

Parish Boundary marker. On railway bridge Dartmouth Park Hill Since my recent gwl entry I've now discovered parish boundary markers. Something else to take note of while wandering around with my camera!

There's the trace of an older painted sign above this one that looks as if it reads (something) Park, suggesting that this street might have been renamed at some point. Maybe it was previously a continuation of Hargrave Park that runs up from Junction Rd almost opposite?
