This terrace backs on to Richmond Park but in front is the busy Robin Hood roundabout on the A3 Kingston by-pass. (Bet they still cost a fortune though.)

Boats moored by Richmond Bridge. Along the river is Richmond Railway Bridge followed by Twickenham Bridge.

Black Ring signs in Petersham

Capital Ring signs have a black background (instead of the customary bright green) in Petersham and Richmond to meet local planning regulations. (But it would appear, from the public footpath sign, that muted dark green is ok...)

Passed on our way to the station. I have geotagged this. Not sure why map info gives location as St Margaret's, Twickenham. I would have called it Richmond. It's on the road between the river and Richmond Green. Take a look at the map and see what you think.
