The Christ Apostolic church on Gifford Street was gutted by fire on March 8th and an application has been made to demolish it It was formerly the Keskidee Arts Centre, the first black arts centre, commemorated by a green Islington heritage plaque (see next pic in photostream for detail). Bob Marley filmed the video for Is this love here in 1978.
