1907, in case you couldn't be bothered to figure it out. But what I am puzzled about is all those C's. Why not MCMVII? Perhaps because it wouldn't have filled the lintel so nicely?

When I got off the bus in Gower St yesterday I was puzzled by all these pink SW arrows. Were they something to do with the Olympic media circus that will shortly be descending on the Malet St/Russell Sq area? Then I realised that SW stood for 'Silent Witness'. They've been filming an episode around Torrington Sq this week. Must watch out for it on tv...
