The yellow house is 31, West Hill, Highgate where John Betjeman lived from 1908 until 1917 (aged 2 to 11). “Deeply I loved thee, 31 West Hill.” Summoned by Bells (1960). An English Heritage Blue Plaque was errected in 2006 to commemorate the centenary of his birth.
