Close-up of the Parish Boundary marker adjacent to the church lands manicule (see previous pics). Can anyone enlighten me what parish it refers to? Seems pretty impossible to decipher to me.

A repeat visit showed that it is the same one as Justin's after all. Maybe it was the scaffolding on the buildings that misled me? The paved area bottom left looks like a bunch of manhole covers so maybe provides access to something?

Originally posted to gwl and although no-one guessed *where* it generated an interesting conversation about *what*. Turns out it's a gas vent and Satguru has an entire webpage devoted to the things (see link in comments below). It's situated at the junction of Chetwynd Rd and Highgate Rd, NW5.
