There is a fixture against the walls, made to look like a huge boot. This is for children to play in, because there's a slide inside which goes down the boot to the sole.
I'm sure you will know this inn Pam. It's very famous down our way

This incredible building is unfortunately dilapidated, such a shame. It's still a fantastic building though

I can just about make out the inscription here - I think it reads "Defeat of the Spanish Armada" It does show the boats on a choppy sea, so it probably is that.

This is a super place built in 1272, but it has only been done in its present state back in 1950/60. The people added all sorts of things to the inn, you actually have to go through a coach to get in there!!!! Look up "The Highwayman Inn", Sourton, Devon, UK to see more about it.
Another delightful addition to the Inn

It looks like a really lovely dolls house, but I think it would have been for a child to use as a playhouse

I'm sure you've been on this road, Pam. It's great to be so close to Dartmoor. Mind you, you do have to take care driving because the odd sheep or pony cross the road willy nilly!!
On our way home we passed this amazing old theatre

Some of the rooms here have been turned into restaurants. The building was erected in the 1700's apparently
