I'm not used to seeing Jack-in-the-Pulpit in this state! The beautiful pitcher flower that it sports during the summer makes it easily identifiable, but after that died back and just the berries, or "corn", was left, it took me a moment to understand what I was looking at.

I have two Jack-in-the-Pulpits that have bloomed for years, and was worried that when I transplanted them to the new house last year they didn't make it. I just needed to be patient! Both have survived.

I've never seen these around here, so I'm very excited to find them growing on the side of the road near my house. As soon as they're done blooming, they're going into my new garden!
