It's been a while since these two have stopped in to see what's good in the pasture. At the edge of the field is an old apple tree, and the doe heads straight for it.

I was almost home today and came around a corner to see what I thought was a dog running down the road. I stopped the car and immediately realized it was a fawn! Pulled out my camera and took a few quick shots as it continued to run right up to my car. Once it reached the car, it kind of looked a little panicked, then turned ran off into the woods. Hopefully Momma was close by. Never have I seen anything like this.

I finally got a photo of a deer that wasn't in my yard! Spotted this little one (ha!) in an open spot along the road.
