Extremely warm air above a good snow pack created a day long fog. Normally we see this sort of phenomena in the spring, not December.

This summer I've tried to section off the pasture into three areas to prevent overgrazing and allow for mowing to keep the weeds down. I have a long section of step in posts that I can pull up and move to block off areas for a few weeks at a time. It would have worked much better if the drought hadn't had such a devastating effect on the grass.
