Another "exotic" bird sighting. This Hungarian Partridge is obviously an escapee from the local shooting preserve, as we don't have actual partridges in our area. The closest bird we have are Ruffed Grouse, which are commonly referred to as partridge by the locals.

There's a shooting preserve nearby, and birds are always escaping. I root for them, but I'm pretty sure they fall victim to the many predators in the area.
