Macy was attacked by what we believe to have been a fisher cat. It must have tried to get her from behind; most of the wounds she received were multiple bites to the underside of her tail.

Evidence of her attacker - its claws were so sharp they never even punctured her skin, just shaved the hair a little. Still, a frightening sight.
