One of my two Jack-in-the-Pulpit flowers; these particular plants grow to massive size, about two feet high. I've had them for years.

I'm not used to seeing Jack-in-the-Pulpit in this state! The beautiful pitcher flower that it sports during the summer makes it easily identifiable, but after that died back and just the berries, or "corn", was left, it took me a moment to understand what I was looking at.

I have two Jack-in-the-Pulpits that have bloomed for years, and was worried that when I transplanted them to the new house last year they didn't make it. I just needed to be patient! Both have survived.

Weeded one of my gardens last night and found not one, but two jack in the pulpits! Score!
