Yesterday morning I stopped to photograph the morning mist rising off this river. I parked on the access road and tried to scoot under the bridge for the best vantage point. Long story short, I slipped on the rocks and fell into the river. Talk about a COLD shock! Luckily every part of me was submerged except for the hand holding my camera high - I don't know how I managed that in the split second this happened, but I'm sure glad instinct kicked in.

Note to self - stop taking photos through your old, bubbly, warped, antique windows.

If you don't like the weather, just wait a moment...

This shot was so amazingly crazy I didn't even touch it, other than to add the border around it. Camera was set to "sunset" mode - why it made the sky yellow is beyond me, but I love the end result.
