At this point it was half done with Thompson's Water Seal. I had thought I'd paint it white, but I like the natural wood.

A dump truck load of bank run gravel arrived just before weather conditions went sour. The following day we had ice and freezing rain, making hand shoveling this stuff more of a chore than I'd expected. Luckily I had some help along the way.

It's been a long time coming, but it's done! Hopefully this little roof will keep the snow from blocking the back door and make it easier for me to keep it cleared.
