Cabo da Roca is a cape that forms the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe (and by definition the Eurasian land mass). This rock outcrop is called Mesa (table) by the fishermen who go there in search of sea bass.It stands 80 meters out of the land's end by 38° 47' N and 9°30' W.
