There was just a major fire in my town, about six blocks from my house. A lumber store caught fire, with a gas station on either side of it at risk of burning. I saw fire trucks and emergency vehicles from a lot of the communities in this area. Fortunately, they were able to contain the fire and avert the possibility of one of the gas stations catching fire and going up in a big explosion. Firefighters are a special breed. Taken on June 2nd, 2024 with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

This was a house fire I covered and this shot of mine made it into a few local newspapers.
