Every year, I have Cardinals build nests somewhere around my yard. These three eggs are in the hedge in my front yard. The eggs are approximately the size of malted milk eggs. Taken just a few minutes ago, on April 9th, 2020.

Man, I sure do miss the old Busch Stadium. This shot was taken on April 22nd, 2000. The Cards were playing the Rockies this night and Mark McGwire hit homerun no. 526. Attendance that night was 42,901.

Even though it's the middle of Winter, there are a lot of Cardinals around my house.

I spotted this male Cardinal by my house last week. I'm pretty sure he lives around here, with the female who has a nest in one of my trees.
