Hell's Half Acre

Hell's Half Acre is a rock formation with deep ravines and caves located about 40 miles west of Casper, Wyoming. Apparently this was some kind of little souvenir stand that was nearby. My late Mother's brother lived in Casper, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was taken by her mom, my Grandmother Lolove Wright, on a trip through there. I know they visited Yellowstone National Park on July 14th 1954, so this could have been taken during that same trip.

It's hard to imagine exactly how big this arch is until you stand next to it. Taken on January 5th, 2013 with my Sony Alpha a230 DSLR.
