This is two images stitched together to make a panoramic shot of Camel Rock. It is located at the Garden of the Gods in the Shawnee National Forest. It really looks like a camel and is one of the most visited places in the Shawnee National Forest. And it's the most visited wilderness area in all of Illinois.

It's like the 1970s all over again! Telephone booths and 110 pocket cameras. You don't see many telephone booths anymore. And I miss them. Not having a cell-phone, if I need to make a call while on the road, there's hardly any payphones left. Thanks for nothing, technology.

Camel Rock

This is Camel Rock, located in the Shawnee National Forest. It’s a popular attraction in Southern Illinois. This area used to be the bottom of a sea and millions of years carved these rocks out of the sediment that solidified. This particular rock looks like a camel that has one hump.
