Grand Funk Railroad had a big hit with "We're An American Band." It's always been a favorite song of mine and I've played and sang in it a few bands of my own. This particular record is also one of my favorites because it's transparent vinyl. I read where it was released on dark yellow vinyl to symbolize a "gold" record. For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, who's theme this week was to "Choose only one thing to photograph against the most basic background."
