Szechuan Beef is what I made for dinner last night. It was so delicious, I forgot to get a picture of it for my recipe album before I ate it. There was some left, so that's what I photographed tonight to get a record of it. Taken on August 28th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

Just four short months ago I was grilling out some burgers and this was one of them. Now, it's gloomy outside, below freezing and there's snow on the ground. I'm ready for warm weather already. Taken on September 11th, 2021 with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

This is what I threw together for dinner last night - some top sirloin sauteed in sesame oil with sesame seeds and garlic, and some rosemary thrown in, with mushrooms in brown gravy on top of it. I served it over a bed of rice. Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR on November 5th, 2021.

About a month back, I made some chicken fried steak for the first time. It turned out just like it was supposed to and was very yummy. Over the weekend, (well, Saturday and Monday - Sunday was the Super Bowl), I canned up 7 gallons of my homemade beef stew, that I make with my homemade blackberry wine. I ended up with 27 quarts. They all sealed and it's good stuff!

This is what I had for dinner - Szechuan Beef. I added some water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and bean sprouts and it turned out good.

The batch of beef jerky I'm making seems to be coming along nicely. Can't wait till it's finished and I can taste-test it!
