1992 Garden

This was one of my late Father's gardens, back in 1992. Check out those cabbages! Camera: Argus C3 rangefinder (made in 1947) Lens: Argus Coated Cintar 50mm, f/3.5 Film: Kodak Gold 100, Gen-2, 100 ASA 35mm Date: June 19th, 1992 Location: Norris City, Illinois, U.S.A. Argus Gold 100 12ff

Second Tomato

05 Sep 2016 1 300
This is only my second tomato this year, and it's a dwarf one. For some reason, this year's growing conditions are all mixed up and I'm not getting any big tomatoes like usual. Taken just a few moments ago in my yard.

Rose

A rose that bloomed recently in my yard.

The Fresca House

15 May 2015 2 1 498
One of three bottle houses that was located at Rockome Gardens in Arcola, Illinois. This one, the Fresca House, was built using approximately 2,400 bottles. It also features a Fresca bottle dog house. (Located to the left of the entrance.) Sadly, the new owners who purchased the place in 2006 destroyed all three bottle houses during renovation. I don't know how a careless thing like that could have happened. Such a waste! Camera: Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash No.1 Film: Kodak Safety Film 6014 Date: May 28th, 1978 Location: Central Illinois

Some Say Love

28 May 2014 475
The same rose I posted before, only before I did the post-processing to make it look like an old manuscript. For this version, all it had done to it was I tried using the Orton Effect on it. A friend of mine here on Ipernity turned me on to that wonderful little trick! Thanks, Norm!

The Rose Effect

Another one of my roses that bloomed the other day. I'm just practicing with different programs and effects. How else do you get better unless you practice, eh?

A Summer Rain

I shot this rose today after some showers passed through. The rain was good for the garden, that's for sure!

Strawberry

My strawberries seem to be growing faster than I thought! If this keeps up, I'll be having strawberry shortcake this weekend.

Strawberry

After noticing that my strawberry beds were putting on lots of blossoms yesterday, today I looked again and found a few strawberries starting to grow. I can't wait until they're ready to eat!
