November 11th is Veteran's Day here in the United States. I am a veteran myself and I want to thank every other veteran we've ever had for their service. This picture is of Arlington Cemetery, located in Washington, D.C. As you can see, some veterans gave all to keep us free. Taken exactly one year ago on Veteran's Day 2013. There was a flag for each plaque and each one stood for somebody who died for my country.

Happy Veteran's Day - pray for troops all over the world and thank a Veteran. Taken on March 12th, 2008.

Let's not forget that on this Veteran's Day, that the soldiers, past and present, who fought for our freedoms.

I met these three at a park while I was shooting there one Veteran's Day. They saw me and asked if I would take their picture. So, I did. They were from a homeless shelter in the neighborhood out enjoying the day.

Let's not forget to take a moment out of our lives on this day to thank the Veterans. I want to honor them for their service and what they've given to America - our liberty and freedom. Stay strong!
