Nick And Gail

Another shot I took last Saturday night at my Class of 1979 high school 40th reunion. Nick was a classmate and Gail was the spouse of a classmate. As you can see, everybody was having a good time there. This is the first chance I've had to shoot that new Lomography Tiger Color 200 110 film - I really like it. It's great being able to shoot fresh 110 film again. This is the float my graduating class of 1979 entered into our local Dairy Day parade this past Saturday. Of course, I couldn't be on it because I was photographing the parade!

This was my high school graduating class of 1979 at our 40th reunion last night. I've been so busy working on things related to the reunion lately, that I haven't had time to take many photos or post much. I took this one using the self-timer.

126 Graffiti 1978

08 Jul 2014 1 2 307
This picture was one I took in my role as yearbook photographer and it made it into my Senior yearbook. Each year, the juniors would get to paint this viaduct/tunnel, and it was a long tradition. The viaduct was torn down years ago and now students paint the side of a building downtown. I took this with one of my old Kodak Instamatic X-15's, which used 126 film. I happened to have black and white film in it, so I took it with me while we all painted. A couple of pictures from that roll ended up being used in my Senior yearbook. This is actually a scan from the yearbook, as I didn't manage to get the negatives back after they were used for the yearbook.

Graffiti Tunnel

This is where students in my day painted their name. This is the old train viaduct that went over the road out of town and held train tracks, so traffic could go underneath and not have to stop all the time. It has since been torn down and the railroad tracks removed.
