This is a man I knew in my hometown who was blind. Thurmon lost his sight from a childhood accident involving the making of lye soap.

I shot with a camera just like this back in the 1970's as part of my school's yearbook staff. I had such a fond remembrance of that camera that I got me one after all those years. (Well, actually three of them. This is the one that works the best.)
