Afternoon mist begins to form as the boat, Antonine, enters the Roughcastle Tunnel on the Union Canal, opened in 2002 as part of the Millennium Link project which connected the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal,

The boat Antonine's name is Roman, The Antonine wall was built by the Romans between the Firth of Clyde and Firth of Forth. Building started in 143AD and took around ten years to complete

It really means it ! A Minimalist image in gorgeous late afternoon light from Bridgwater Bay, with the island of Steep Holm just beyond the tide line,
The course of the River Parrett can just be seen extreme left of the image!
