Portnahaven Isle of Islay, this is the southernmost island of the Inner Hebrides and is a ferry trip of around 2 hours 15 minutes from the mainland at Kintyre. Islay is one of five whisky distilling localities and regions in Scotland whose identities are protected by law, and is home to around 10 distilleries.
