A 13 km-long fresh water loch in the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. This was taken near the start of the 4.5 mile Brenachoile Trail and was shot into the Sun which may have affected quality slightly, Sir Walter Scott set his poem 'The Lady of the Lake' here, it also inspired writers such as William Wordsworth and was used as a location for scenes in Outlander. The loch also has links to Scottish legend Rob Roy MacGregor. And was closely linked to Queen Victoria, Located in the Scottish Highlands, east of Loch Lomond, within the historic county and registration county of Perthshire and the contemporary district of Stirling. The loch is about 8 miles long and 1 mile wide at its widest point, and runs the length of Strath Gartney. (Scottish for Valley) Wish you a great Friday and a lovely weekend
