The walls of Dunure Castle, The site dates from the late 13th century; the earliest charter for the lands dating from 1256, but the remains of the building are of 15th- and 16th-century origin. (Wikipedia) Well over 500 years which ever it was! In 16.9 so a large view may better, anyway HWW to all!

The Dovecote and a small part of the extensive ruins, of Dunure Castle, which sits high on a cliff above the South Ayrshire Coast These ruins were part of the castle built in the 15th and 16 century, which replaced an older castle on this same site, it has been ruins for around 300years, The large Dovecote was well maintained and stocked as a good source of fresh food and feathers, plus a large Dovecote was also a major status symbol. HFF and a good weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a large view for clarity and detail perhaps!
