The King Edward Pier and Calmac Ferry terminal for sailings to Lochmaddy on the Island of North Uist and Tarbert on Harris both journeys are around two hours sailing time. This view looking across the bay into Loch Snizort and Waternish peninsula beyond. On the right of the image strips of land left from the old days of the crofting.

UIg Bay, Isle of Skye, makes you wonder why it's called the Misty Isle, Uig is Norse for a sheltered bay, Cal Mac Ferries sail to Lochmaddy on North Uist and to Tarbert, Isle of Harris from here.
