West Quay, Bridgwater, The Fountain Inn, (note the date at the top), next building for many years had a dance venue on the first floor, the sign built into the brickwork lists it as the "Fisherman's Wharf" but known locally as "Oddfellows Hall" further down the green building was another pub "Kings Head" Merchant ships tied up on both sides of the river and steps for access can be seen built into the wall! The Bottom Ship at Porlock Weir (Top Ship is down the road in Porlock village) this is fairly typical of pubs in the area, A roaring log fire good ale and food with plenty of outside dining if the weather is kind and passing traffic not to heavy. ;-) Large may be better for detail.
