A fishing village built at the head of an inlet of Loch Fyne called East Loch Tarbert, on a narrow isthmus which connects Kintyre to the south with Knapdale to the north, It is known as the gateway to Kintyre! HFF and a large view for clarity please!

Clachan Sound from the Fairy Foxglove adorned wall of the hump back bridge at Clachan on the Isle of Seil which is one of the Slate Islands, slateislands.org.uk Because both ends of the sound are open to the sea it is known as "The Bridge over the Atlantic" I prefer a large view! HWW to everyone!

The calm waters of the Crinan Basin and Sea lock beyond the gates at the western end of the Crinan Canal, This is a nine-mile-long (14 km) navigable canal in Argyll and Bute, west of Scotland. It opened in 1801 and connects the village of Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp with Crinan on the Sound of Jura and avoids the sometimes turbulent waters around the Mull of Kintyre, A large view for clarity please, and HFF with a wonderful weekend!

Davaar Island Light

A fence with a view of the Lighthouse on Davaar Island at the entrance to Cambeltown Loch, Davaar is only an Island at high tide reachable by a shingle causeway called the Doìrlinn at other times, The lighthouse which is 20 meters high was constructed in 1857 and the light has a range of 15 nautical miles. It sits at an elevation of 37 meters Image shot in 16.9 therefore a large view is recommended, HFF and a good weekend!

With the dramatic Island of Arran as a backdrop these lovely ladies were taking a lunch break on the quayside at Carradale, which is the eastern side of the Kintyre peninsula, They spent a while chatting with my wife and were happy for us to take photographs, This is 16.9 format so a large view would be appreciated. HBM and a nice week ahead!

Dovecote

The Dovecote and a small part of the extensive ruins, of Dunure Castle, which sits high on a cliff above the South Ayrshire Coast These ruins were part of the castle built in the 15th and 16 century, which replaced an older castle on this same site, it has been ruins for around 300years, The large Dovecote was well maintained and stocked as a good source of fresh food and feathers, plus a large Dovecote was also a major status symbol. HFF and a good weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a large view for clarity and detail perhaps!

A footpath on Lydeard Hill with a slightly lopsided tree and a fence protecting an area with a steep drop, This is a part of the Quantock Hills ANOB and is very popular with many visitors. the grass areas are managed by red deer and the free roaming Quantock Ponies. The bird may take a little finding but the bright orange beak should give it away quite easily, Fence and harbour wall at Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp, Scotland. 16.9 format so a large view may be beneficial ! Will catch up on my return tomorrow, HFF and a great weekend

Cloud Topped.

The cloud topped Ben Ledi, 2943 ft (897.03 m) as a backdrop to this capture from the tourist town of Callander. Ben Ledi is the highest mountain in the main part of the Trossachs, an area often regarded as having some of the most romantic scenery in the Highlands. It forms a part of the Grampian Mountain range and is classed as a Corbett, These are Mountains in Scotland between 2500 and 3000 feet high, with at least 500 feet of descent on all sides. Large perhaps!,,,,,,,,,,,,, HFF and a good weekend!
