Back to the warmer days of Spring, This is the Crinan Sea Loch with the gates to the basin partially open. The gates to the Canal are out of shot on the left-hand side of the basin,

This is a row of seven metal artworks forming gates over the entrances of Wick Harbour's salt cellars: the large chambers needed to store the salt used when packing herring into barrels. Looking out to the Cornhill and Fore Street from St Mary's Church yard on a quiet Monday morning, The domed building on the left is the old corn exchange and market, work started on the building in 1779 and was extended twice in the 1800s,
Part of the building is still a market the remainder a restaurant and small shops,
