Roger (Grisly)'s photos with the keyword: A87

Another in the occasional from the archive series this time from 2010 apologies if it shows it's age. This is a view across Loch Garry to the Ben Nevis mountain range through a heat haze which is a bit of a novelty for Scotland. This is one of two Loch Garys in Scotland the other being in Perthshire.

From the viewpoint at Bealach Ratagain looking towards Morvich and the causeway that carries the A87 road across Loch Duich, to the right of the image a part of the Five Sisters peaks can be seen. My take on one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, It sits on a small island where three lochs meet, Loch Duich, Loch Long and Loch Alsh. Took about a dozen shots in a very short time this is the only one the figure in black (on the right) appears in, even then it was not noticed until downloading at home.
