A typically damp day in Glencoe, and a view of the "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" watercourse as it tumbles down from the valley between the mountains. This is captured from the bridge over the River Coe at Achnambeithach, The cloud covered mountains are "Stob Coire nam lochan (1115m) on the left and "Stob Coire nam Beith" (1107m) on the right, HFF and a lovely weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Large view recommended!

River Coe leaves Loch Achtriochtan at Achnambeithach where the watercourse "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" tumbles down the gully and joins the river, all the high ground has cloud cover. Recommend a large view.

The Village and Glen of Kilmartin descend into shadow as the Sun sinks below the distant Hills. Kilmartin Glen is said to be one of the richest areas in Europe for prehistoric remains in fact there are more than 350 ancient monuments within a six-mile radius of the village, with 150 of them being prehistoric..
