The parish church of St Laurence, Priddy, Somerset, It dates from the 13th century, with some rebuilding in the 15th century and was restored in 1881–88; it is a Grade I listed building Priddy is a small village on top of the Mendip Hills above Cheddar Gorge and the city of Wells. For over six centuries, The church of St Mary the Virgin, has been the focal point of the village of Stogumber, The tower which was begun in the fourteenth century, is built of red sandstone, but differing styles indicate church extensions over the years! Stogumber is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, on the eastern flank of the Brendon Hills. It also has a station on the West Somerset Railway. A large view for detail! From St Peter and St Paul, Over Stowey, Somerset, The tower and part of the nave date from the 14th century, There is also 15th century work but the building was heavily restored and enlarged in the 19th century, In 16.9 so large view appreciated please

The late 14th century tower of the Church of St Andrews, Burnham on Sea is a grade one listed building It is reputed that a plumb line dropped from the north side of the 78ft high tower is 3 feet from the building at the base, Image taken as the December Sun sets across Bridgwater Bay.
